Thanks for the tips Paul. I do like a bit of techno (especially Old School: Reese, Mayday etc.) but I'm more into the house and broken-beat side. I remember d1 alright. I'll add a link to it. Yeah, I got a bit of stuff on emusic a while ago - Cal Tjader, OPA, some other jazz stuff. But my preference is for vinyl which I can then rip as I need it.

Been to many a Bodytonic night over the past few years, generally keeping a flag flying well. If you like your techno Frank, D1 are the boyos for you. The people behind the annual DEAF shindigs. http://www.d1recordings.com/0-home/index.asp Sign up for their mailing list, they've recently taken to uploading some old live mixes.
I've been a sucker for music weblogs over the last six months and my itunes is getting bloated with bits and pieces that I'm unlikely to listen to again. In fact, it's becoming obsessional.
Delighted to see your input, and looking forward to taking a trip down temple of sound lane.
Keep 'em coming.
Have a look at www.emusic.com, if you haven't already. If you're a cheapskate like myself, you can sign up with credit card details, etc for the free downloads and then cancel your subscription without any hit. It has been 50 free tracks, I think it may be down to 25. But there's plenty of good stuff there.
