Got another slightly deeper mix – mostly between about 108 and 118 bpm. There’s a mix of old, recent and new stuff and it opens out towards the end into a bit of funk and afro-beat. The transition between 06 and 07 is a bit sketchy but I’m reasonably pleased with the rest of it.

Thought I’d put up another one from the vault. This one is from November 1993 and it’s about a month before the first time I played at the Temple of Sound (which was, I think, St. Stephens’ night 1993). It was ripped from a 90 minute cassette, encoded at 192 kbps and is in two parts.

This one is a bit sketchy in places but I think it turned out more or less alright. The idea was a selection of Soul, Jazz & Funk at around 100bpm or so. It’s all at that tempo except for the middle section of Chameleon which speeds up to around 120 (and includes that famous Ballistic Brothers’ sample) and the end of Windy C.
