I had been meaning to do an eighties boogie mix for a while and I had also been toying around with the idea of doing a mix of eighties garage dub, so in the end I decided to roll them together into the one mix. There are also a few tunes that aren’t from the exact period but, I think, fit in with the same vibe: listening again to the Reel People tune was what gave me the idea to put it together.
