As always with these things, by the time you finally find the tune your musical taste has evolved somewhere else. That can happen even if it takes you a month to find a tune, never mind a year. Does this tune possess the elusive timeless quality? I'll have to hang onto it for a year or three to fekkin find out I suppose. As Tracy from the current Big Brother might say: "Ave it". I did - this morning (less than 24 hrs later).
As always with these things, by the time you finally find the tune your musical taste has evolved somewhere else.
That can happen even if it takes you a month to find a tune, never mind a year. Does this tune possess the elusive timeless quality? I’ll have to hang onto it for a year or three to fekkin find out I suppose.

Spent a year on and off trying to track down the broken version of "Work" -- an arduous voyage involving lots of listening to shite versions of all descriptions. (there are about 75). This was a while ago, then I gave up. Remembered it recently - looked again - saw that some 2007 versions were out - listened to 'em - oh dear.
