Ok, I got a chance to lay down part two of the April 08 Mix Selekshan, so here are parts 1 & 2 together. As I posted below, part one goes from 115 to 122 bpm with funk, house, balearic and old school. Part two has a few more different styles: deep, broken, techy, brazilian and disco mostly at about 125bpm

    Another Long Mix

    Ok, as promised, here’s the “epic” mix I intended to record earlier in the week. Like the 32 Tune mix, this is another double length mix, also with 32 tunes (assuming both sides of the Alice Russell 7″ count as two separate tunes) and also with a range of different type of stuff on it, but this one has less of the Soul and Balearic and a bit more of the Funk and Afro-Beat. There are one or two sketchy moments, but not bad enough to make me want to go back and re-record the whole thing again!

    Celebrate Diversity

    Did this one over the weekend. Like the Deeper mix it has a combination of newish and old stuff but probably is a little more diverse musically (hence the title). I’m not 100% pleased with some of the mixing on this and contemplated re-recording the whole thing but I decided to put it up anyway, few rough edges and all. 06-02-25Diverse.mp3.     February Mix

    This is one I did last night. This one has a little bit of a techno flavour with the Carl Craig, Galaxy 2 Galaxy and techy Seiji mixes. I had to split it into two parts because one record just started skipping and I didn’t really find an elegant way out of it, it was encoded at 192kpbs.
